What does DERMAPEN treat?
Our DERMAPEN Microneedling procedure treats all facial conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne, scars, sun damage and enlarged pores, but also includes under eye treatment for wrinkles, under eye bags and dark circles, eyelids for hooded lifting and above the lip area for collagen lip density, lip line clearing, fine line reduction. Active products are used on the skin during your treatment due to the microchannels created allowing your skin to absorb up to 80% more active ingredients which penetrate deep to be absorbed by the underlying cells.
What happens during the procedure?
The microneedling procedure with DERMAPEN takes place in several main stages, with the entire process lasting about 40-50 minutes. Here is how it goes:
- Anesthesia – Before the procedure, the professional applies a local anesthetic cream to the areas that will be treated to ensure your complete comfort during the procedure.
- Deep cleansing – After removing the anesthetic cream, we proceed to a high-level disinfection and cleansing of the skin.
- Serum selection – We believe in an individual approach for each client. Before starting the procedure itself, you and the professional choose the most suitable serum for your skin and according to your personal needs and preferences.
- DERMAPEN – The procedure is about 15 minutes, with the professional going over your skin several times in horizontal and vertical directions to ensure full skin coverage and absorption of the serum.
- Soothing mask – Immediately after the device, the professional applies a highly soothing and hydrating mask to your face and neck. It nourishes and soothes the skin, as well as helping to reduce the recovery period. The recommended time with the mask is at least 20 minutes.
- Recovery period – Redness of the skin is an absolutely normal and expected reaction after the procedure. It can last from 1 to 3 days, depending on the level of sensitivity of your skin. At SATORI we recommend using a soothing cream containing panthenol in the days following the procedure. Avoid applying makeup in the next 48 hours after Microneedling with DERMAPEN.
