    Recommendations for the procedure

    Pre-procedure recommendations:
    • Stay well-hydrated in the days leading up to the procedure
    • Avoid alcohol 24 hours beforehand
    • If possible and following a doctor’s assessment, limit anticoagulants and aspirin 2–3 days beforehand
    • Avoid aggressive procedures (lasers, chemical peels) 1–2 weeks beforehand
    • Inform the specialist if you have any chronic conditions or are taking any medications

    Requirements

    Pre-procedure requirements:
    • The skin must be healthy—free of active infections, inflammation, or wounds
    • Not performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding
    • Contraindicated in cases of blood clotting disorders or autoimmune diseases
    • The area must be clean and free of makeup

    Additional information

    Aftercare:
    • Possible reactions: mild redness, swelling, tenderness
    • Avoid pressure on the treated area for 48 hours
    • Avoid makeup for 24 hours
    • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
    • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and hot showers for 48 hours
    • Avoid intense physical activity for 24–48 hours
    • Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for 1 week
    • Use SPF 50 sunscreen daily
