How it works
- How our body and skin lose their volume.
- What are dermal fillers for the body used for?
- What you should know before the procedure
The loss of volume in the body is a natural process related to age, genetics, and lifestyle. As we age, the skin loses elasticity, and the subcutaneous fat decreases. This leads to skin sagging, the appearance of wrinkles, and changes in body contours.
Dermal fillers are designed to increase and restore lost volume, bringing back the youthful appearance of the body and its contours. They offer a non-invasive solution for contouring and rejuvenating the skin, providing natural-looking results.
- Volume restoration: Often used to enhance the volume of the buttocks, thighs, or arms, creating a fuller and more rounded shape.
- Smoothing irregularities: Can be used to reduce the appearance of visible scars or indentations on the skin.
- Contour shaping: They help define and shape specific areas of the body, such as calves or shoulders.
- Cellulite reduction: In some cases, they can be used to reduce the visible effects of cellulite.
Before the procedure, you SHOULD NOT:
- Take over-the-counter blood-thinning medications such as Aspirin, Motrin, Ibuprofen, or Aleve (7 days before the injection);
- Use products like retinol, retinoids, glycolic acid, or other anti-aging formulas, as well as creams containing wax, bleaching agents, or depilatory creams in the area of the injection (2 days before the injection);
- Drink alcohol (on the day of the procedure).

Non-surgical
Unlike surgical interventions, the procedure with fillers is non-invasive and does not require anesthesia.
Minimal downtime
The procedure is minimally invasive and usually requires very little recovery time. There may be slight redness and swelling in the treated area, but these quickly subside.
Natural results
When properly applied, fillers can create a very natural and harmonious look. They don’t drastically change your appearance, they simply enhance your natural features.
Immediate results
One of the biggest pros of fillers is that the results are visible almost immediately after the procedure. You can enjoy fuller and more well-shaped areas of your body the same day.

How does the treatment work?
It is important to note that hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in our body.
To ensure greater comfort for the patient, a numbing agent is applied before the procedure. A precise amount of hyaluronic filler is then injected into the target area. After the procedure, you will receive safety instructions and advice from the specialist to ensure proper aftercare and optimal results.
FAQ
Find the answers to the most frequently asked questions about dermal body fillers. Make an informed decision about the right product for you.
Do dermal fillers hurt?
The placement of dermal fillers is usually associated with mild discomfort rather than pain. To minimize the sensation of pain, most specialists use a local anesthetic so that the procedure does not cause negative sensations.
How long do dermal fillers last?
The durability of dermal body fillers varies depending on several factors, such as:
- The type of filter: hyaluronic acid-based fillers are the most commonly used and have an average duration of action of a few months to about a year and a half.
- Treatment area: Fillers injected into areas with more mobility (e.g. lips) are metabolized faster than those placed in areas with less movement (e.g. cheeks).
- Individual characteristics of the body: everyone’s metabolism is different, which also affects the rate of degradation of the filter.
- Lifestyle: Smoking, excessive alcohol use and sun exposure can speed up the filter degradation process.
How often should you do the procedure?
As a general rule, re-insertion of dermal fillers is recommended when the effect of the previous procedure begins to wear off. This usually happens gradually, so there’s no need to worry about noticing a sudden change in your appearance.
Injectables during pregnancy?
Your safety is our primary concern and for this reason we do not perform injectable procedures on clients who are pregnant. We advise against any cosmetic injectable procedures during pregnancy as a precaution and due to the lack of available information on the effects of these types of procedures on the fetus.
Injectables after vaccination?
We advise to keep a minimum interval of 7 days before or after vaccination.
